And on to Mykonos...

*EXHALE* That's what I did when I finally arrived on the Island.

It was so nice to be surrounded by such incredible beauty every day! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves (with a little explanation, of course...)

Learned this cool technique from Karen Russell on how to capture the sun's it!

The view of Mykonos from our hotel.

The view FROM OUR CLASSROOM! How cool is that?!

They call this area of town "Little Italy." So cute!

The infamous WINDMILLS.

Seriously amazing sunsets - it's like God was painting just for us every night!

The view to the right of the hotel.

More to come...

Let's start with Athens...

My trip to Greece was incredible! I started by arriving in Athens, spending the night, a whole day of sightseeing, a second night, and another half day of sightseeing/shopping there with my new found friend Sharyn.

Sharyn and I had met via email/online through Cocoa Daisy and we arranged to be roommates and quickly see Athens together. She was so amazing! I seriously would have been lost 10 times without her!

I have friends who have been to Greece before and they advised me to quickly do I didn't spend much time there. And, I am very glad for this advice (thank you Lissa)! As beautiful as the ruins are, the city is a busy, dirty, fairly unsafe place. We were constantly warned about pick-pockets, but fortunately we didn't fall victim to them. I was glad to quickly see all the sights and then move on to Mykonos Island on Saturday evening...

Here are some of the beauties of Athens!

Me, tired after climbing the hundreds of steps to the Acropolis.

My friend Sharyn at the top of the Acropolis overlooking the city.

The towers of Zeus - so beautiful!

More areas of the Acropolis...oh, did you know that the Acropolis is actually 3 buildings? Not just one! And, it used to be more, before they are got ruined...I think originally there were 9 buildings.

Hello Everyone -

My momma has been visiting this last week (I miss her already!) We enjoyed a day trip to Niagara Falls (her first time of seeing it - amazing!) The rest of the time, we were shopping til we dropped!

I'm heading out to Mykonos and Athens, Greece on Wednesday! SO EXCITED for this scrapbooking trip :) Wish you were all coming with me, as it would of course be better in the company of wonderful friends...but, hopefully I will make some good friends along the way!

I will write you all when I return from Europe :)
